Lions coach Dan Campbell delivered a tearful postgame response to another heartbreaking loss

There isn't much to be thrilled about if you're Lions head coach Dan Campbell. Detroit is the NFC's lone winless team, and despite a new staff and quarterback, the Lions continue to find ways to lose winnable games.

Sunday's Week 5 loss to the Minnesota Vikings was especially crushing -- even by Lions standards. Detroit had rallied back from down 10 in the fourth quarter to take a one-point lead thanks to a touchdown and gutsy two-point conversion call with 37 second to play. But 37 seconds proved to be plenty of time for the Lions to Lions another game.

The Vikings quickly got into field-goal range, and Greg Joseph hit a 54-yard field goal to win with no time remaining. And when it came time to address that loss in the postgame press conference, Campbell was visibly disappointed.

The first-year head coach broke into tears while commending the effort his team showed in a tough loss. And you really have to feel for Campbell too. He made the risky call to go for the win instead of the tie, looked to succeed and still lost.

That will be a difficult one to get over, but if there's anything the Lions have taught us over the years, it's that there will always be a worse loss.
